Bil Zelman is an award winning photographer behind several of today’s popular ad campaigns. He was a guest speaker for CSCA and I had the honor of designing the invitation postcard and meeting with him after the presentation. One of the key aspects of Bil’s photography is the way he catches people off guard. Most of his photos are close and personal, and yet the subject is often only aware their photo has been taken after the fact. Instead of trying to show a variety of his photos (I couldn’t narrow it down!), I chose to focus on one photo that seemed to represent his whole collection quite nicely.
