One of the best things about my field (and one of the most frustrating) is that it constantly involves looking at the ordinary in a new way. While hours of brainstorming, sketching, and researching are often involved, the best ideas sometime come from simply seeing what has been in front of me the whole time. Yes, good stuff! Inspiration makes me never grow tired of working to be the best… knowing that no one is or ever will be. We need other great artists to keep ourselves pushing harder and I think that is one of the beautiful things about the industry. We are all competitors, but we still manage to communicate and collaborate with each other with respect and acknowledgment for what another will accomplish. The world could learn a lot from the design industry.
